Introduction to “40 Days of Knowing God”

Welcome to 40 Days of Knowing God, a devotional journey designed to help you discover and reveal God in you. Over the next 40 days, you will embark on a transformative path to learn how to operate as a co-creator with God, overcoming life’s circumstances and stepping into the divine reality He has planned for you.

We begin with this foundational truth: You are made in the image and likeness of God—and now, He lives in you. As you progress through this study, you will learn how to activate the potentials God has placed inside of you. God is the Creator, King, and Judge, and as His children, made in His image, we are called to grow into maturity, reflecting these same qualities of God.

The Bible teaches us that as we mature, we must leave behind childish things. In 1 Corinthians 13:11 (NKJV), the Apostle Paul writes:

“When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.”

Childish things include seeking miracles, relying on others to pray for us, or waiting for someone else to counsel or teach us. When we put away these childish things, we begin to take full responsibility for our lives. Miracles become a natural part of our reality—we no longer look for them in surprise, but fully expect them as a normal outcome of walking in God’s power.

We begin to recognize and embrace our identity as co-creators, kings, and judges—just like our Father God. As we mature, we no longer need others to pray for us, counsel us, or teach us. Instead, we rely on the Holy Spirit to lead us in all things, guiding us on eternal paths. We grow to the point where we face life’s toughest challenges with confidence, knowing that we can overcome them as easily as eating bread.

To fully step into this authority, we must mature in our understanding of who we are in Him. As Romans 8:19 (NKJV) says:

“For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.”

Creation itself is eagerly awaiting the manifestation of fully matured sons and daughters of God. It is time for us to rise up and take responsibility for the “business” of our Heavenly Father. This devotional is an invitation into the deeper things of God, where we are called to act as His true children, living according to the divine calling He has placed on our lives.

In this volume we will be exploring the fact of our position as co-creators with God. Let this be a season of growth, revelation, and activation as you step into the fullness of who God has created you to be.

Each day, you will reflect on key scriptures that challenge your thinking and empower you to align your heart and mind with God’s will. Each day also, you will make confessions of faith to place you directly in the will of God for your life. It would be great if you could memorise these confessions and say them nto yourself several times a day. This way, youconciously chart the course of your life with your words.

Whether you’re new to your walk with God or seeking a deeper, more intimate relationship with Him, this journey will help you embrace the life-changing reality of the God who lives inside you.
